Kung Fu Jungle, beforehand known as Kung Fu Killer and Last of the Best, is an upcoming Hong Kong-Chinese action film directed by Teddy Chan and starring Donnie Yen, Charlie Yeung, Wang Baoqiang and Michelle Bai. The film is scheduled for release on 31 October 2014

A couple of days ago, I concisely stepped into the Filmart section of the Convention Center in Hong Kong during the Hong Kong International Film Festival. The Filmart is where Asian film studios try to sell the foreign rights to their movies.

I saw a booth with a large display showing stills from a Donnie Yen film titled Kung Fu Jungle. From talking to the organizers of the booth, I learned that Yen’s film Kung Fu Killer has been retitled yet again. The first version was Last of the Best.

The Drop (formerly known as Animal Rescue) is an upcoming 2014 American crime-drama film directed by Michaël R. Roskam and written by Dennis Lehane. The film stars Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, James Gandolfini, Matthias Schoenaerts, John Ortiz and James Frecheville.

Hardy headlines as an ex-con named Bob Saginowski who is trying to live out a quiet life away from crime as a bartender. When his bar is hit by a gang of robbers, he sees his life and those of his cousin Marv (Gandolfini) and partner Nadia (Rapace) thrown into chaos.

The film also features Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts of Jacques Audiard's Rust and Bone and James Frecheville, from David Michôd's Animal Kingdom, in supporting roles.

It is based on a short story, Animal Rescue, by the American writer Dennis Lehane, whose books have formed the basis of the critically acclaimed films Gone Baby Gone, Shutter Island and Mystic River. Lehane himself wrote the screenplay and plans to deliver a full-length novel based on the expanded story .

The film's 2014 release marks Gandolfini's final appearance in a feature film, following his death in June 2013...

Khoobsurat is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film. The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It stars Sonam Kapoor, Fawad Khan, Kirron Kher, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Ratna Pathak and Aamir Raza Hussain. It is a remake of the 1980 film Khubsoorat.

The first teaser of the Disney film is out and it shows a glimpse of the chemistry between Bollywood’s quintessential fashionista Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan, who’s making his Bollywood debut.

Fawad plays the character of Vikram, an uptight royal. Sonam Kapoor plays Mili, a cracker of a girl who enters the royal household, changes its regimented atmosphere and turns lives upside down with her rebellious feistiness.
