Ouija is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by Stiles White and co-written with Juliet Snowden.
The upcoming board game movie adaptation, Ouija, is on its way with possibly the best release date for the horror film: Halloween 2014. In order to properly get excited about this new movie, we see the young cast develop a bit of the story and get right into taking part in the supernatural activities. "I don't think this is a good idea," is a pretty solid line because - spoiler alert - it is not in fact a good idea!
Ouija will be the first directorial effort for director Stiles White. While he may not have any directing credits to his name, he is certainly no stranger to the horror genre, having written the screenplay for films like the 2005 horror film. Boogeyman and the 2012 horror thriller The Possession.
White is also penning the script for the new film along with screenwriter Juliet Snowden. Snowden has worked with White plenty of times before as she also worked on Boogeyman and The Possession, among other titles, with the director.
The film stars Bates Motel actress Olivia Cooke as Elaine Morris. Ouija also stars Shelley Hennig, Ana Coto, Daren Kagasoff, Bianca A. Santos, Douglas Smith, Matthew Settle, Vivis Colombetti, Robyn Lively, and many more. Ouija is scheduled to be released on October 24, 2014.
