Haider is an upcoming hindi film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, and written by Basharat Peer and Bhardwaj. It is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, and is set in Kashmir. The film stars Tabu, Shahid Kapoor as the eponymous protagonist, Shraddha Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon. Haider is the third installment of Bhardwaj's Shakespeare trilogy after Maqbool (2003) and Omkara (2006). Breaking the mould of a romance and comedy, Shahid Kapoor is all set do the unconventional once again. Shahid Kapoor had worked wonders the last time when he worked with Vishal Bharadwaj in Kaminey. And the duo strikes again, all set to capture the violence in the valley of Kashmir.
Actor Shahid Kapoor, who plays a dark character in his forthcoming film "Haider", says although he prepared for the role the nagging thought that he's not "good enough" for it kept haunting him throughout the shoot....
