Jason Bateman is not a stranger to onscreen dysfunctional families after Arrested Development, so it’s of little wonder that he seems quite at home in the new trailer for the upcoming This Is Where I Leave You. Jonathan Tropper (the co-creator of Banshee) adapted his original novel for the film version, which revolves around the Foxmans: a Jewish family that, in accordance with their recently-deceased father’s last request, observe Shiva – a week-long mourning period, in which the members of the family are forced to confront their problems head-on...

Judging by the trailer footage, Tropper’s best-selling source material – often compared to the collective work of author Nick Hornby (High Fidelity, About a Boy) – has been translated to cinema in a relatively non-flashy, but clean, manner, courtesy of director Shawn Levy (Real Steel, The Internship). Not to say that’s a bad thing, mind; the characters and the actors’ performances behind them, are the real selling points, both in the actual film and trailer alike.

Search Party (2014) is the fun flick all the way from Scot Armstrong. You know Scot Armstrong for some exclusive hits like Old School (2003), Starsky & Hutch (2004), School for Scoundrels (2006) and Hangover Part II (2011). Well, this time Scot Armstrong has extended his field of work by coming into direction as well. Search Party (2014) is going to be the debut movie for Scot Armstrong as director. Let us watch how much he has succeeded in direction side, although it is his very first attempt. Now coming to towards the Search Party (2014) movie discussion, I will just say that if you want some hilariously awesome time then Search Party (2014) is just for you.

The film's plot has two friends Evan and Jason trying to reunite their buddy Nardo with his estranged fiance, whom they scared off at the altar. After Nardo is carjacked and left naked and broke in Mexico, they begin a series of misadventures south of the Rio Grande.

Armstrong is producing the film together with Paul Brooks (Pitch Perfect), Neal Moritz (21 Jump Street) and Ravi Nandan (Hesher).

Universal, which had a sleeper hit with Gold Circle's comedy Pitch Perfect last year, grossing more than $65 million domestically, plans a late 2014 release for Search Party. Universal has a first-look distribution deal with Gold Circle.

Joe Drake's Good Universe is handling international sales for the project and has closed a deal with German mini-major Tele Munchen Group (TMG) for all theatrical rights in Germany and Austria and TV rights for German-speaking Europe. TMG's theatrical arm Concorde will bow the film in Germany.

Haider is an upcoming hindi film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, and written by Basharat Peer and Bhardwaj. It is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, and is set in Kashmir. The film stars Tabu, Shahid Kapoor as the eponymous protagonist, Shraddha Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon. Haider is the third installment of Bhardwaj's Shakespeare trilogy after Maqbool (2003) and Omkara (2006). Breaking the mould of a romance and comedy, Shahid Kapoor is all set do the unconventional once again. Shahid Kapoor had worked wonders the last time when he worked with Vishal Bharadwaj in Kaminey. And the duo strikes again, all set to capture the violence in the valley of Kashmir.

Actor Shahid Kapoor, who plays a dark character in his forthcoming film "Haider", says although he prepared for the role the nagging thought that he's not "good enough" for it kept haunting him throughout the shoot....

The Golden Era is an upcoming Chinese drama film directed by Ann Hui and starring Tang Wei and Feng Shaofeng. Wei plays the lead role as the 1930s author Xiao Hong, one of the most important female writers in contemporary China.
The film "the Golden Era" is set in the 1920s and 30s of China. Feng says it's a charming period to him, as well. Everyone bears hardship, pain, sadness and joy. But light exists in everyone, which makes them unique and charming.

While acting in the film, Feng is totally immersed in his role. He enjoys forgetting about goals, depression and relief. To Feng, acting in a role is like a long dream he is reluctant to leave.
Feng plays Xiao Jun, a Chinese writer and main character of the film. The star-studded cast includes actresses Tang Wei and Hao Lei, along with actors Wang Zhiwen and Wang Qianyuan.

Directed by Hong Kong filmmaker Ann Hui, "The Golden Era" mainly tells the lives of writer Xiao Hong and her partner, Xiao Jun, before the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949.
