Karthikeya is an upcoming Telugu thriller film directed by debutant Chandoo Mondet.. After the success of Swami Ra Ra, Swathi and Nikhil have teamed up again for another film, Karthikeya. Chandu Mondeti will be making his directorial debut with this film. The shooting of the movie, which is going to be an entertainer with a thriller back drop, is done and the film is ready for release this October.
Talking about his pairing up with Swathi for the second time, Nikhil says, "My pairing with Swathi in Swamy Ra Ra was highly appreciated by the audience. The producers too was impressed with our on screen chemistry and wanted to cast us again. I accepted the offer immediately. Nikhil's latest film Karthikeya is gearing up for its censor in the first week of August. The movie was supposed to reach the theatres in the month of July but postponed due to unknown reasons.
Swathi is romancing Nikhil for the second time after Swamy Ra Ra movie. Nikhil tweeted "Karthikeya 1st copy is Ready and being sent for Censor. It's too late for an August 1st release.. Will announce release date In 3 to 4 days," Karthikeya is said to be a thriller in backdrop of a temple. Sekhar Chandra is the music composer and Chandoo Mondeti helmed the megaphone for this bilingual film. Magnus Cine Prime banner Venkat Srinivas is the production house of the movie.
